The Misophonia Paper

I am thrilled to announce that we have finally published our paper on misophonia (link below). The paper underwent several rounds of critical review before being accepted for publication in the *Journal for Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders*.

In our paper, we present our psychological model of misophonia, which is grounded in a comprehensive review of existing literature on the subject. We make a strong case for understanding misophonia as primarily the result of psychological processes.

In the second part of the paper, we outline our approach to treating misophonia, which is based on our psychological model. We have termed this therapy "Experiential Acceptance and Stimulus Engagement" (EASE). Finally, we conclude with a case example that demonstrates how this therapy can be effectively administered.
